This grand Victorian hotel, built in 1885, features glittering chandeliers, inspiring architecture and an impressive list of historical former guests, including the famous Shakespearean stage actor, Sir Henry Irving, Bram Stoker, The Beatles, and the Rolling Stones.
The Princes Ballroom is the largest of the two stunning Ballrooms and is suitable for up to 300 guests for a formal seated wedding breakfast. It features one of the largest central chandeliers of its kind. It has recently been refurbished and includes a dedicated bar area, air-conditioned, fully-fitted sound and lighting system.
The French Ballroom, with its five glittering chandeliers, high ceilings and exquisite décor, is suitable for up to 150 guests for a formal seated wedding breakfast or 200 for an informal buffet. Featuring full-length windows on two sides and a separate bar and reception area. The Forster Suite comprises four intimate rooms including a private bar area and is perfect for smaller weddings of up to 60 guests.
