A little bit about who I am ….. “This is me”! taken from the Soundtrack The Greatest Showman. The lyrics “this is brave, this is proof, this is who I’m meant to be” really sums up my personality. My name is Angela, I am the owner of “Weddings by Angela”. I live in Hyde, Cheshire, I am very happily married to Alan, my rock. I also have a grown-up daughter, both are very supportive in all that I do, which makes me very proud to be a wedding planner, and to fulfil my dream of my own business. I have trained with the UKAWP (UK Alliance of Wedding Planners), of which I am now an Associate Member. I think of myself as a confident person, a quick learner, outgoing, self- motivated and love a challenge. I am a mature caring lady who treats people with respect. I have gained many skills and competencies in life as an Administrator. I work well under pressure, I am very organised in my work and I have a keen eye for detail. I enjoyed doing a photoshoot which I won through a competition and this has built my confidence enormously as I was recovering from a life changing operation. In my spare time I like to do line dancing, listen to both UK and American Country Music so much so that we got married in Nashville in the same church as Johnny Cash and June Carter! I am also a big fan of going to The World Snooker Championships held annually at The Crucible in Sheffield. I have a close relationship with venues and suppliers, who are my best friends and they give me support to be able to offer traditional and alternative ideas for weddings.
