Half Day or Full Day Hire: Choose the timing that suits your celebration, whether you prefer a half-day (Morning to 5pm, or 3pm - late evening) or a full-day hire (Morning - late evening) toaccommodate your plans.

Wedding License: Decide whether you want to include a wedding ceremony as part of your event, giving you the flexibility to design your day as you envision. Our wedding license covers indoor (capacity: 60 standing or 50 seated) and outdoors (capacity: 150 standing or seated).

Dining: We’ve many dining options, from your traditional Roast lunch to buffets, BBQs & home cooked great pub food. With different options for Wedding Breakfast & Evening Food.

Indoor Capacity Flexibility: A variety of different setups to accommodate your guests. For more intimate weddings, we can have one large rectangle table of up 26 guests or for larger weddings guests can be split onto separate tables we can accommodate 80 seated, with table filling the entirety of the pub across three semi-separate linked rooms.

​Outdoor Capacity Flexibility: Wanting that Festival wedding vibe, or just have a super large family? We have maximum outdoor capacity of 500 people, and you have the option to accommodate more than 150 guests for the evening buffet, allowing you to host a larger celebration if desired.

​Marquees: For outdoor weddings that require a ceremony for more than 60 guests, we highly recommend a marquee, canopy or awning for the ceremony in case of bad weather. We require marquee hire for all weddings with outdoor dining that requires seated tables. Marquees can seat a maximum of 110 guests.

We have partnered with Abbas Marquees, a local family run marquee company supplying stunning structures for your day.

VENUE INFORMATION
Located approximately 10 miles from Bridgwater, 5 miles from Axbridge, and 4 miles from Highbridge, our venue is nestled in the historic village of Mark, Somerset, England.

The village holds a rich history dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries, with the Mark Yeo River playing a crucial role in the region's development.

The White Horse Inn, situated on the Abbots Causeway, has historical significance, initially being a one-roomed Cider House with a Victorian extension. Built on the site of the ancient High Hall of the Abbots of Glastonbury, it played a vital role in transporting goods and passengers via the Mark Yeo River.

Today, the White Horse Inn is a quintessential English village inn with award-winning real ales and a delightful selection of small vineyard wines. Its diverse spaces, including the 'Parlour,' 'Lounge,' and 'Abbots Room,' cater to various preferences. The inn's focus on exceptional food is evident in its thoughtfully curated menus, prepared on-site with locally sourced ingredients.
