My name is Claire, and (many) years ago I bought a beautiful preloved wedding dress for my wedding. I had seen it in a wedding boutique but couldn’t justify the price tag. Then I found exactly the same dress for less than half the price as it was second-hand. But it never felt like a compromise and I felt just as beautiful on my big day as if I’d paid the full price for the new dress (and I felt clever for having saved so much!) I wanted to offer other brides the opportunity to get a fabulous dress at a less ridiculous price too without losing out on the dress buying experience. So I set up Worn With Love Bridal. Nowadays most of my dresses are brand new or ex-samples from wedding boutiques, but I also still have a few once-worn dresses – and the principle of selling heavenly dresses at down to earth prices has always stayed the same. I want you to enjoy trying on wedding dresses without the 'rules' that some shops have about taking photos, how many dresses you can try, who you can bring and how long you have. My shop is designed to make you feel comfortable and to give you the privacy, time and space to try on as many wedding dresses as you like. But you still get the upsides of traditional wedding dress shopping - a range of dresses to try, accessories, and the optional services of experienced and specialist wedding dress seamstresses to fit and customise your dress. We are very down to earth, and there’s no pressure either – if none of my dresses are ‘the one’, then I hope you find the dress of your dreams somewhere else. Claire xxx
