A unique Wedding Barn offering you the opportunity to have your wedding, your way. Exclusive use of the barn and 17th Century Farm House for 3 nights is all part of the package
We are very pleased to be able to offer our historic farm as an approved wedding venue.
Only available each season between the end of May to the end of August, you have a choice of three areas on the farm that are licenced for your ceremony, The Barn, The Walled Garden Marquee Outside or The Farm House.
DIY PLUS wedding weekend is £6500.00 and includes:
Exclusive weekend (Friday to Monday) use of:
Our beautiful historic Farm House for six people inc three bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen and a private garden with a hot tub.
Full use of our 17th century barn over three levels holding a maximum of 100 seated and 120 inc evening guests.
Speciality handmade wooden tables and benches.
Barn Bar - Bars 4 Yew
Cobbled barnyard.
Gravel garden and marquee
Barn Field to accommodate campers and overflow parking
Clipping room. (Caterers area)
Hard Standing parking for up to 12 cars
Wedding trailer Toilets
Bins, Recycling and Barn clean up on the Sunday.

Situated in the Yewdale Valley just 2 miles from the beautiful village of Coniston, our views are all of the beautiful countryside including Holme Fell and Weatherlam.
We are a very do it yourself wedding venue, you simply rent the venue from us and then the rest is completely up to you to decide on. You have full choice on any caterers, decoration, music, etc...but we are on hand to give help with your planning the schedule for your day and to help things run smoothly on the day itself…….we can’t do anything about the weather though!

Meet the Wedding Coordinator
We've been hosting weddings here at Yew Tree Farm since 2018 when the Tenant Farmers here, Jon Watson and Jo McGrath celebrated their own nuptials! I joined the Yew Tree Team in March 2023 taking over from Amy who had been here from the beginning. We are very much a DIY venue which means you get exactly the day that you want, you choose and book your caterers, entertainment and decorate the barn exactly how you want, however I will help you to plan the schedule, I will liaise with the suppliers to ensure everyone is where they should be and I'm there on the day to see that everything runs smoothly and your day is perfect.
