Ramster Hall is a much loved private home which is a stunning wedding venue located in the Surrey Hills close to the West Sussex boarders. The Long Hall dates back to 1604, it is over 100 feet long it boasts beautiful original beams paneling and a polished wooden floor. It also features a vast inglenook fireplace with a blazing log fire which gives a warming welcome in the winter days, while in summer the halls remain lovely and cool.
Joined to the Long Hall is the beautiful Great Drawing Room which is licensed for Civil Marriages. Here you can seat up to 160 guests in any layout to suit your wedding ceremony, either a traditional layout with an aisle or a horseshoe shape with a huge fireplace behind you.
After the ceremony, this room is free for you to use for the rest of the day. It can be used for your drinks reception if you are unable to go outside or as a quiet room during the evening’s entertainment.
The beautiful private courtyard garden makes a perfect location for drinks and canapés as well as a stunning setting for your photographs. Flood lit in the evening it also remains for you to use throughout the day.
Their caterers are carefully selected and they are local to Ramster Hall. Jacaranda produces the exquisite meals and they are also happy to recommend excellent photographers, florists, entertainment, wine merchants and any other services you may require.
