The Box Tree is a Michelin-starred restaurant in one of the oldest buildings in Ilkley. Originally a stone farmhouse dating from 1720, this Yorkshire wedding venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and is the perfect place for intimate weddings of to 50 guests. Exclusively encompassing your whole wedding from a romantic ceremony to a sophisticated champagne canapé reception, to the finest wedding breakfast. Opened by Malcolm Reid and Colin Long in 1962, the Box Tree became known as the North’s most successful restaurant, with two Michelin stars to its name. It has been featured in every good food guide, without exception, and renowned chef Marco Pierre White made his mark on the menu and the history of the restaurant. Box trees were first planted in the front garden in the late nineteenth century and thus the place became known as Box Tree House.
