For a very fun and very easy DIY, today we’re looking at how to make some DIY glitter and pastel mini vase decorations that look great as wedding table accents or mini wedding favours!
Look #1 – Glitter Vases (5 Ways)
What You’ll Need:
• A paint brush
• Glue Dots (large & small)
• Mini Decorative Favour Vases
• Lots of glitter (in any colour you like!)
• Spreadable glue/ spray adhesive glue
• Masking tape
• Flowers for your vase
Glitter Vase #1 – Glitter Base
Instructions:
Step 1: Wrap a strip of masking tape three quarters of the way down your vase.
Step 2: Apply a thin layer of glue to the bottom of your vase (just below the masking tape)
Step 3: Sprinkle the glitter over the glue (make sure all of the white part is covered) Voila! Your finished product should look like this!

Glitter Vase #2 – Strip of Glitter
Instructions:
Step 1: Wrap a long strip of masking tape at the base of the vase and another long strip just below the base of the bottle neck.
Step 2: Apply a layer of glue to the clear part in the middle.
Step 3: Sprinkle your glitter over the glue!
The Final Look:
If you’re feeling extra sparkly, try this next one instead:
Glitter Vase #3 – Full Glitter
Instructions:
Step 1: Apply the adhesive spray glue all over your vase, leaving no white parts showing.
Step 2: Sprinkle the glitter all over your vase, leaving no white patches. (You may want to cover the opening of your vase to avoid glitter getting inside; even violently shaking it may not get it all out afterwards!).
Your vase should look something like this!
The Final Look:
Glitter Vase #4 – Large Glitter Polka Dots
Instructions:
Step 1: Stick the large glue dots all over your vase.
Step 2: Sprinkle the dots with the glitter.
Step 3: Using a clean paintbrush, dust away any of the excess from your vase.
The Final Look:
Glitter Vase #5 – Small Glitter Polka Dots
Repeat all steps above for Look #4 – Large Glitter Polka Dots, but instead use the small glue dots.

Top Tip: Try a blend of small and large glue dots for a unique effect!
Look #2 – Pretty Pastel Vases
If you liked the look of the glitter vases but want a simpler version, go au naturale with this lovely collection of pastel coloured vases.
What You’ll Need:
• Ribbon in a colour of your choice
• Flowers of choice (we used white and pink astible, pink wax flower, and blue muscari)
• Thank you tags in “The perfect match” and “Candy colourful” designs
• Mini Decorative Favour Vases in lavender mist, white, blue breeze and glacier blue.
Instructions
Simply tie your tag to your vase with some pretty ribbon and then add some flowers. You may even want to add some mini charms!

Create a beautiful, contemporary effect using metallic gold spraypaint instead of glitter, and have even more fun with your designs by wrapping your masking tape in twists around the vases or even vertically along them.
