A couple got engaged in front of Taylor Swift and you should see her reaction! It’s just as epic as this couple who proposed to each other.
A couple got engaged in front of Taylor Swift during a meet-and-greet for her Reputation tour in Philadelphia this weekend. Anthony Yannuzzi and Stephanie Pysher from Upland, Pennsylvania, started dating after attending one of Taylor’s Red Tour concerts in 2013 and have now come full circle. They were picked at random to participate in the meet-and-greet, where Anthony got down on one knee and popped the question to Stephanie.
The couple spoke to TODAY and Anthony explained, “It was a private meet-and-greet and you only get one picture. But when I got down on one knee, the manager started shouting for them to take more pictures.”
Clearly, Stephanie wasn’t the only one taken completely by surprise!
“They walk into the meet and greet and he says ‘We met 5 years ago at the Red Tour” and then … #thirdwheel‘”, Taylor wrote.

“Taylor told us she’s never shocked and she was shocked by us,” the bride-to-be said.
“We have spent countless hours listening to her music together,” Anthony wrote on Twitter. “I can’t thank Taylor enough for bringing us closer #ReputationTourPhillyProposal.”
It’s also been revealed that groom-to-be Anthony has been planning a special engagement for weeks—he started a Twitter account in June called “Philadelphia Show Proposal” in the hope of gaining Taylor’s attention.
Stephanie said that she had no idea that Anthony was planning the engagement, or that he had a ring or the Twitter account. Although she expected to get engaged eventually, she was completely stunned.
The couple celebrated their engagement by attending Taylor’s show on night two, only this time they were wearing custom made T-shirts complete with a photo of their epic proposal.

“People were like, ‘That’s the couple!’ and asking to take pictures with us,” Stephanie said.
The pair aren’t planning on tying the knot immediately, as Anthony is soon set to graduate with a degree in physical therapy and Stephanie has just started a teaching career. However, they’re pretty certain that their first dance will be a Taylor Swift song.
We wish them huge congratulations! And we wonder if Taylor will surprise them with a special wedding gift when the big day comes, like she did for this couple?
