Ellie Goulding’s Wedding: Everything You Need to Know
Congratulations are in order for Ellie Goulding and her partner Caspar Jopling, as this weekend saw them say ‘I do’ in a lavish, celebrity filled wedding day.
The couple held their wedding ceremony at York Minster, with stars including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Sienna Miller and James Blunt in attendance. Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank also celebrated with the happy couple, alongside Sarah Ferguson.
Ellie opted for a beautiful long sleeved wedding dress with a high neck, designed by Natacha Ramsay-Levi for Chloé which reportedly took more than 640 hours to make.
Ellie’s seven bridesmaids, who included childhood friends, Ellie’s stylist and her former manager, wore white bridesmaid dresses, and they all arrived at the ceremony in a vintage VW camper van.
Ellie is yet to post about her wedding on social media – riding high on a wave of newlywed bliss, we’re sure – but Caspar shared a few photos, simply writing: “Thankful for everyone and everything, especially you.”
Caspar also posted an Instagram story of him and Ellie holding hands, captioned: “And now we sleep” – an emotion we know A LOT of newlyweds feel following their wedding day!
In true celebrity (and Royal!) style, Ellie wasn’t content with just one wedding dress. For her reception at Castle Howard, Ellie changed into an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, which we’ve seen in an Instagram post by musician SerpentWithFeet, who played at Ellie and Caspar’s wedding.
If you’re thinking of changing into a second dress for your reception, check out our edit of reception wedding dresses for inspiration.
Two weeks of from her wedding, Ellie revealed a third wedding dress; a bespoke gown by Ralph & Russo, which is different once more from her long-sleeved, high necked Chloe dress.
Which of Ellie’s three dresses do you love most? We think the thigh split makes dress number three our favourite…
