Indian actress, singer, Priyanka Chopra and American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas made headlines after announcing their engagement earlier this year, now just weeks away from their big day the couple’s wedding venue has been announced.
The couple, who have had a whirlwind romance, have chosen India’s last living palace- Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodphur to celebrate their wedding nuptials.

The real-life palace, the sixth largest private residence in the world, is home of the former royal family of Jodhpur. It is equipped with 347 rooms, several banquet halls, ballrooms, a throne chamber, a library, a museum, an indoor swimming pool and a spa.
The hotel’s top suite, the Maharani Suite, is expected to be where Priyanka and Nick will spend their first night as a newly married couple. Spanning the length of the entire suite, the Maharani Suite has its own private terrace that overlooks the 26 acres of private palace gardens that burst with bougainvillea.
The terrace is said to be one of the most romantic places to watch the sunset over the blue city of Jodhpur.
The suite also features a couple’s massage room where guests can enjoy treatments from an award-winning team of Jiva Grande Spa therapists, a yoga room to practise private guided meditation classes and an exquisite bathroom that is carved out of a single piece of pink Italian marble, designed by Polish artist, Stefan Norblin.
The wedding date has been set for December 1st, but a weekend of celebrations is expected and if Priyanka’s wedding shower is anything to go by, the nuptials will be a spectacular event.
