The moment is here! Meghan Markle has set off in her wedding car in a stunning gown – designed by acclaimed British designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy – a name that wasn’t bandied about too much in the run up to the big day.

The gown, which has a bateau neckline and appears to be made from satin, features long sleeves. The bride is following royal tradition with an elaborate tiara, as well as a delicate, floaty veil.
Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Ms. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition.

The veil is held in place by Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, lent to Ms. Markle by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the entre brooch dating from 1893.

The bride’s mother, Doria Ragland is believed to be wearing Burberry.
Prince Harry and his brother and best man, the Duke of Cambridge, are both wearing the frockcoat uniform of the Blues & Royals, Kensington Palace has confirmed. The Queen granted permission for Harry to get married in the uniform, and both his and William’s outfits were tailored at Dege & Skinner on Savile Row.
