Where to Watch the Royal Wedding in London

Watch the Royal Wedding at Chelsea Physic Garden

From 11am – 6pm you can visit the garden for free and embark on a ‘royal’ mystery trail. The ceremony will be screened outdoors and purchase irresistible snacks and desserts. Cocktails served include the ‘Minty Markle’, and you can learn to make a flower crown with Bloomologie. There will also be a best hats competition, so make sure you’ve donned yours!

National Maritime Museum Royal Wedding Celebrations

Head to Greenwich between 10am and 3pm to watch Harry and Meghan say their vows on a giant screen on the lawns of this iconic venue. You can bring your own picnic, or purchase snacks, food and drinks as you mill around. Royal-themed fancy dress is encouraged and entry is free, so get yourself down there!

One Marylebone Church, Westminster

For £25, you can sip champagne as you watch the royal wedding play out live on a big screen in this beautiful Grade II listed church. Other activities on offer include bouquet and corsage making, wedding cake decorating, Bloody Mary making, traditional British party games, Royal family facts and trivia and an after party! Where do we sign up?!

Watch the Royal Wedding at Skylight Rooftop

Play classic British lawn games and sip on cocktails from 12 noon onwards at the Skylight Rooftop in Wapping. Greek street food from Yiro will be available to buy and you can settle down in the upper lounge bar, on a bench under the pergola or have a picnic on the grass. It’s free to enter and you can also enjoy Royal Wedding specials, cocktails, spritzers, bubbly and more.

Fortnum & Mason Royal Wedding Celebrations

What could be more fancy than watching the royal wedding at Fortnum & Mason in Westminster? For £85, between 11am and 2pm, you can enjoy ‘A Right Royal Celebration’, which includes champagne upon arrival, afternoon tea and coverage of the royal wedding in the elegant Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. You’ll also get a special wedding breakfast tea to take away!

Royal Wedding Screening at South Place Hotel

Watch the royal wedding at South Place Hotel in the City of London from 12noon onwards. It’s free to attend and you can buy royal wedding themed treats, such as a cocktail called ‘The Invitation’ served with a slice of lemon and elderflower cake, inspired by the royal wedding cake, for £10.

The Gun, Canary Wharf

Honour Meghan Markle and party where the suits hang out (get it?!) and watch the royal wedding at the Gun in Canary Wharf. This venue has recently been redeveloped, and offers amazing views across the Thames. Sit by the river, watch the wedding and sip on Pimms, a G&T or Prosecco having taken advantage of the free entry.

Hyatt Regency London’s Royal Wedding Screening

Head to Hyatt Regency London at the Churchill, West End from 12.30pm onwards and pay £55 or £85 (includes bottomless brunch) and watch the festivities in the Montagu, the hotel’s contemporary British restaurant. You can enjoy a range of delicious dishes, including fresh seafood and British cheeses, and a live carving station with two traditional roasts.

Bluebird, Chelsea

Act like you’re one of the Chelsea set at one of Kate Middleton’s favourite hang-outs whilst you watch the royal wedding. This iconic Chelsea restaurant will be fully decked out for the big day. Starting at 12pm, entry costs £25 and includes a glass of Prosecco. There will be a BBQ throughout the day and a DJ from 4pm.

Covent Garden Hotel, Westminster

From 12 noon onwards, you can enjoy a royal afternoon tea at the Covent Garden Hotel for £27 and watch the royal wedding in its luxury cinema. The tea includes finger sandwiches, cakes, champagne and peach bellini jelly with custard, as well as scones.

Royal Wedding Screening at the Book Club

Cool kids will love the Drag Queen Brunch at the Book Club in Shoreditch. It’s £5 to get in and you can play bingo with a Spice Girl, watch the wedding on the big screen, enjoy brunch and more, all in the heart of East London.
