Jessica and Daniel Real Engagement Story

Dan and I had been friends for 2 years when we eventually got it together. I used to go out with his best friend when I was 17 and, the poor lad, he still had a huge thing for me after all these years (I’m 21 now) so Dan and I had never considered taking things further as it would hurt our friend.
After nearly 2 years, I had some trouble with my flatmates and needd somewhere to stay, so Dan offered me a room in his house, which he shared with our friend. We stayed just friends for about one month but one night, Dan and I got quite drunk on a night out with his brother and sister-in-law. we told each other that night how we felt and ended up sleeping together.

We tried to keep it a secret to save our friends feelings but as we fell in love we thought it better for him to find out from Dan rather than one of our other housemates. Our friend went mad and smashed up his room, so it was agreed by all that he leave as he said he didnt want to stay if Dan and I were together.
Since then, Dan and I have gotten closer and closer and are madly in love. We moved into our own flat alone last June and we have been very very happy since.

It was all made perfect when, on chrismas morning just gone, Dan presented me with a large box. He got down on one knee in front of me and opened the box. I looked inside and saw a ring tied to the box with red ribbon.I was stunned and it took a moment to sink in.
Dan lifted up my head to look at him and said ‘ I love you so much, will you marry me?’ I had a lump in my throat but managed to say yes before the tears started.

We plan to get married as soon as we can afford it and plan to do it on a tropical paradise island.
