When was your wedding?

How and when did you meet?

We started working together in 1999. After he left in 2001 his cousin Tas, with whom I still worked with said Harry was asking how I was. He then asked for my number so we could catch up. We went out for a drink a couple of weeks later and we have been togeter ever since

How old are you both?

I am 24 and Harry is 33

Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?

Harry asked me to marry him on boxing day 2005 in Gran Canaria. We were walking along the beach and he got down on one knee and said,” Here goes! Will you marry me?”

Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?

Harry went to Manchester with 18 friends and they went to a strip club. Saturday morning they had a football match and in the afternoon they went go karting and Saturday night they went clubbing. I didnt have a hen night as I am pregnent and will have one once the baby arrives.

How did your groom help with the wedding planning?

Harry helped by signing the cheques and turning up on the day.

My dress was ivory corset with a full skirt from Stevie Gowns.

Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?

I had 4 bridesmaid and 2 flower girls My Maid of Honour was a close friend and her 2 daughters as bridesmaids. My cousin was another bridesmaid and one of my cousins 2 little girls were my flower girls

Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?

The best man was my husband best friend and 2 of the ushers were cousins and the other usher was a close friend. They all worn top hat and tails

Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?

Harry is Greek Orthordox so we had a Greek wedding

Where did you hold your ceremony?

In a greek church, The Tweleve Apostles

Where did you hold your reception?

Royal Chace hotel

Did you have any special wedding transport?

Our wedding car was a 1930 beauford convertible

How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?

We had 150 guests to the church and another 50 to the evening

Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?

Our theme was our colours lilac and silver

How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?

We had lilac sweet peas as center pieces and lilac and siver confetti on the tables.

Did you give your guests favours?

Our guests received silver boxes with mints in and it was in a lilac organza bag

Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?

My bouquet was lilac sweet peas and the bridesmaids had lilac sweetpeas with white roses the table arrangements were fish bowls on mirrors with licac stones in the bottom with lilac sweet peas. By Priory flowers

What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?

The venue provided our food we had greek dips and bread , prawn cocktail, roast lamb, profitta rolls followed by a fruit platter with ta coffe and mints

What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?

Our wedding cake was 4 white tiers with cake jewellery round each teir by Victoria Bakery

Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?

We had a live band Distello

Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?

It is greek tradition to pin money on the bride and groom, but we also had a gift list with John Lewis

Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?

We didnt go on honeymoon we just stayed 3 nights in the hotel where we had the reception

What was your most memorable moment of the day?

Walking up the alsie to Harry as we hadn’t seen each other for 5 days!
