How and when did you meet?
We met in January 2004 through a work do.
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
Mark proposed in Venice in May 2004 – down on one knee next to the Grand Canal!
Did you have hen and stag celebrations?
I had a two hour pole dancing lesson in Birmingham.
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
No – we had a wedding organiser in Italy.
Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it.
I had a lovely two-piece outfit.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I had one bridesmaid.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
Mark wore a black suit.
Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
We had a civil ceremony in Italian and then in English.
Where did you hold your ceremony?
St Mark’s Square.
Where did you hold your reception?
The town hall in Venice.
Did you have any special wedding transport?
Our transport was a gondola!
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had twenty guests in total.
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
I had pink roses.
Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
We stayed in Venice for a couple of nights.
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Richard and Judy having a drink with us at our reception!
