We spent the first night at the place where we got married and had breakfast in the morning with everyone else who stayed. We honeymooned in Mauritius which was just perfect, we booked our honeymoon with Holidaysplease.

It was all perfect but walking down the aisle was the most memorable moment.

Did you experience any “nightmare” moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?

Not really, apart from me being very ill for three months before the wedding and the fact that I had lost my voice even for the wedding. Also I did not know whether my Dad was coming until two days before the wedding as he got upset that he was not giving me away.

Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?

I would not have done anything differently, it was absolutely perfect. My advice would be to stick to what you want, don’t let people try to change your mind.
