I had three, a weekend in Brighton, and two in Fleet. Dave had one and went to Newcastle for the weekend.

Did your groom help you with the wedding planning?

He arranged the honeymoon and sorted out the disco, photographer and helped with the reception.

Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?

I used the website for ideas which was very helpful.

Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?

I visited the store and bought a table plan, favour contents and Confetti for the tables.

Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it.

It was an Alfred Angelo dress in covered satin with lace, pearls & sequins, a strapless, princess-line gown with a semi cathedral train. I also had a crystal tiara and veil edged with Swarovski crystals.

Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?

I had two bridesmaids, Linda and Carole, who wore Alfred Angelo strapless dresses in Victorian lilac with matching crystals on the bodices and matching tiaras. I also bought them a necklace and earrings with the colour of the crystals on the dresses.

Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?

Best man Leigh, Ushers Ed and Rich and they all wore morning suits with the cravats the same colour and material to match the bridesmaids.

Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?

Pink and lilac.

How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?

Favour boxes with lilac ribbons and pink roses, pink, lilac and silver confetti sprinkled on the tables. The flowers also incorporated these colours.

Did you give your guests favours?

Yes – favour boxes with chocolates in the middle.

Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?

Freesias, roses and calla lilies with lime green incorporated into a spray, all arranged by a Florist member of the family.

What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?

Melon and raspberry coulis, chicken in a white wine sauce with a selection of vegetables followed by a strawberry Pavlova for desert.

Did you experience any ‘nightmare’ moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?

Only some members of ebay ripping me off for orders of service and table plan.

Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?

Get married at 1pm, not 2 – the day goes so quickly and we didn’t get a lot of time to chat because of photos etc.
