We met… At Drama School. We lost touch for a couple of years after graduating before a chance meeting through a mutual friend.
First impressions of your husband…Very funny and so incredibly friendly. My first impression the second time was questioning how I had missed him first time round!
His first impressions of you… “I can’t believe I missed out on her all these years and how pretty she is, she’ll never be interested in me.”
Our proposal… We had a rare weekend off together so visited the Suffolk coast where I had spent a lot of my childhood. Harry had planned to ask after a lovely dinner, but after acting odd all day he cracked and asked as we were about to leave the hotel room. It was beautiful and so emotional.
Who were your bridesmaids/groomsmen? Best friends and our niece Bella as flowergirl.
How did Confetti.co.uk help in your big day? We browsed for ideas from hen dos to the big day!
What was your dress like? Very simply knee length, Audrey Hepburn style.
What was your ceremony like? It was filled with fun, love and laughter. I walked down the aisle to ‘It’s Harry I’m Going To Marry’ form Calamity Jane which set the tone for the day. It was followed by 2 brilliant readings by our siblings.
Why did you choose your venue? We chose the South Farm because of its beauty and the opportunity to get married outside. South Farm were so accommodating to all our ideas. We were truly made to feel like it was ours for 24hours!
What were your wedding theme/colours? Our main colour was red. The theme was based around our Grandparents’ living room to give us a warm, homely vintage feel while being outside. South Farm also has a large space behind the main garden that we filled with a summer fete theme, complete with a coconut shy and bouncy castle.
What was your favourite part of the wedding? Gosh, we can’t answer that as the whole day was better than we could have dreamed! All our ideas came together perfectly thanks to our friends, family and the fantastic staff at the venue.
What was the song for the first dance? Dancing in the Moonlight rearranged especially for us by our band Kai’s Cats.
What is your advice for other brides? Stay calm, accept help and enjoy the whole process.

This Grade II listed house has 20 acres of grounds it is an absolutely perfect place in any kind of weather.
