My dress was a gold Mon Cheri design with a cathedral length train.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I had four – my two sisters and two best friends. They wore baby blue strapless dresses.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
Darren’s best man was his best friend Andy. They had frock coats, pin striped trousers, and cravats to match the bridesmaid dresses.

We spent it in the Glen Eagles Hotel in Harpenden – it was amazing, really romantic.
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing Darren’s face.
Did you experience any ‘nightmare’ moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
Yes – the dressmaker took too much off two of the bridesmaid dresses a week before the wedding. Thankfully, they were able to fix it.
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
Just enjoy the day – it goes so quickly. Our day was amazing.
