How and when did you meet?
We met in 2002.
Did you have hen and stag celebrations?
My hen party was fancy dress and I was dressed in a green wedding dress while everyone else dressed as nurses. We went for a Chinese meal and then out clubbing.
Mark and the boys had a night out.
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
Yes, I used Confetti for the planning tools, they were very helpful

Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?
Yes, I bought my chocolates for the favours, a guest book & album, confetti for the tables, place cards and many other pieces, all bought online.
Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it.
I wore a Bonny bridal gown in white with baby blue beads and sequins on the bodice and skirt of the dress. I purchased it from The Wedding Barn in Appleby, Cumbria.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
Yes, we had 3 bridesmaids: my two close friends, Kerry and Lindsay and my cousin Emma; they all wore dresses from Veromia in a baby blue with beading to the bodices.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
Mark chose his friend, Trevor as best man and my brother Gary was an usher; they all wore three-quarter length suits with waist coats with a navy spot and navy ruche ties, all from Tom Little Menswear.
Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
We had a civil ceremony.
Where did you hold your ceremony?
The ceremony was held in a gazebo in the grounds of Hunday Manor Hotel in Workington, Cumbria.

The reception was held at Hunday Manor Hotel, Workington, Cumbria.
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had 110 guests.
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
The theme was blue, silver and ivory.
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
We had silver candle stands, ivory candles and candle rings with blue flowers and beads, blue and silver table confetti and blue and ivory balloons in the centre of each table.
Did you give your guests favours?
Yes, we gave favours: they were ivory cone-shaped boxes with a baby blue rose and personalised ribbon with silver foil hearts inside.
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
My bouquet was made of ivory lilies with silver coils around the outside. The bridesmaids carried posies made of ivory roses with three baby blue roses in all. The flowers were silk and the florist was Decaflora.
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
The venue provided the catering, we had vegetable soup, and then roast turkey, followed by a strawberry pavlova.
What did you choose for your wedding cake?
Our wedding cake was a three-tier stacked cake with lilies and baby blue roses; it was provided by Crown Celebrations.
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
We had a disco in the evening.
Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?
We had a gift list with Argos.
Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
We spent our first night at the hotel; we didn’t have a honeymoon.
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
It was all very memorable but probably the first dance was the most memorable.
Did you experience any ‘nightmare’ moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
No, everything ran really smoothly.
