What better way is there than to see in the New Year with a romantic wedding? With 2016 just around the corner, we look at some of our favourite weddings where the couples have done just that; here are 5 of the best New Year’s Eve weddings we’ve seen.
1) Lynze and John’s New Year’s Eve Wedding
A classic black tie and sparkling metallic wedding photographed by Trent Bailey, Lynze and John’s New Year’s Eve wedding was held in magnificent New Orleans. We love it for its breathtaking beauty, and the swoon-worthy midnight kiss under the falling confetti.
2) Stella and Dom’s New Year’s Eve Wedding
We adore Stella and Dom’s New Year’s Eve wedding (photographed by Sansom Photography) in the gorgeous Ilkley Winter Gardens for the festive party atmosphere that infuses it. The lights, the venue—it’s beautiful.
3) Amanda and Jerry’s New Year’s Eve Wedding
A magical New Year’s Eve wedding, Amanda and Jerry said their “I do” s on a lovely snowy day surrounded by friends and family. The rich colour scheme is enchanting, and we love the wonderfully regal feel that dominates their big day.
4) Heather and Damian’s New Year’s Eve Wedding
Heather and Damian’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Mitton Hall Hotel in Lancashire was captured by Claire Penn Photography. Their wedding is magnificently glamorous with hues of blush pink and antique silver, but we fell in love with it for the significance of the venue to the couple; Heather was taken there often as a child and always knew she would get married there. Her groom-to-be soon fell in love with it, too.
5) Joe and Manda’s New Year’s Eve Wedding
Joe and Manda were wed in Joe’s breathtakingly beautiful family home at Hilltop Country House, Prestbury. We particularly love how their reception was held in a cluster of three cosy teepees filled with lights. What a superb way to welcome the New Year!
